What did you do this past week?

This past week I was mostly working on a project for another class that was due this weekend. I spent a lot of time doing research and watching videos on different algorithms for this project. In the evenings, I would usually go out for walks or play sports with my roommates.

What’s in your way?

Not much is in my way for this week. I do need to start doing some research for the upcoming project in this class, as there are some stuff that I am confused about. I might need to rewatch some lectures just to review concepts that I may have missed during class.

What will you do next week?

Next week, I have my first test, so I need to start studying for that today and throughout the week. I will also do some research for the next project in this class, so I could gain and understanding of what this project requires and how I should prepare for it. I should probably take some time and rest this week, as last week was very busy and tiring for me.

What was your experience of exceptions, IDB1, and types?

It was nice learning about these concepts this past week. A lot of the material covered was new to me, so I had to spend some extra time to look over it again and made sure I understood it. I enjoyed the lectures because it gave me a better understanding of how these concepts are important in software engineering.

What made you happy this week?

Something that made me happy this week was going canoeing with some friends. I felt like this was a much needed time for relaxation after a tough week. There was also not a lot of people on the lake, so it was very nice and soothing experience. I recommend it. Another thing that made me happy was playing board games with my roommates. I always find this time to be enjoyable because it just removes my mind from school and stress.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

Because of the upcoming project, I needed to do some research on what I should learn or understand. I stumbled upon a video explaining RESTful API and what it is. I recommend checking it out if you have some free time.
